About la Sallonnière
As a creative producer Celine Vanhoutte started organizing secret events for women in her hometown Ghent (BE), under a pseudonym Madeleine de Scudéry, a well-known French Sallonnière of the 17th Century.
Thanks to a talented artistic crew this passion project grew from a secret gathering for her beloved friends at home to a big funded event, with more than 200 women engaging in this story. And this in only a few editions time; the beautiful women multiplied and generations got mixed.
As she moved to Vienna she saw the potential to bring this concept to a new level, given the fact that this wonderful city has a rich cultural background, history, and a unique standing in the world of art. It is the perfect place to give Le Salon Secret an international twist and empower even more women.
